These past few days have been fantastic with weather in the high 20s and today is supposed to be 32°C by early afternoon. Of course everyone's loving this heatwave, the only problem we spent 8 hours of the day stuck indoors behind a computer screen, and not outside in the park soaking up the rays. I have however managed to pop down at lunch time to BOXPARK Shoreditch where they've set up deck chairs on the 'lawn' and showing the Tour de France on the big screen, so at least that's an hour each day of some Vitamin D!
On Wednesday night Uns and myself headed down to New Cross and had dinner at Maddy's Fish Bar which recently opened up next to The London Particular and is the result of a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign. Really nice dinner there, sat outside on the benches, enjoying the mild evening weather. Then last night we had raclette for dinner at home outside, once again enjoying the warm evenings. Can certainly get used to this!

Today's meant to be another scorcher outside, with the heatwave pushing the temperature to over 30 today. Probably won't get much of a lunch hour today, with a few of us planning to leave early to head down to Gatwick and off to Amsterdam for the weekend for JP's stag which I expect to be fairly messy!
