Last week's flight back here was much better than the one out to SA, but to be honest there couldn't be one much worse that than. The complaint letter to Virgin has already gone in, so we'll see what comes of that. After arriving at Heathrow on Tuesday morning, Uns and myself headed home and I had a quick shower then dashed off to the office. Una had taken the day off but I'd decided to go in and safe the leave for later in the year. Needless to say this week has taken it's time and been pretty knackered all of it.

To get over the post-holiday blues, we decided to go for a walk along the south bank on Tuesday evening and stop in at Gourmet Pizza for dinner. Then Friday afternoon I landed up having a few afternoon beers with the work guys and just chilling at home that evening. Yesterday was just spent around the house doing some admin jobs and a bit of DIY in the morning and afternoon, followed by a trip out to Putney last night for some beers with Si, Fish and Will at the Railway. We just decided to meet up for a few and a few it certainly turned into! Which meant Uns and myself landed up at What-a-Chicken before grabbing a taxi home!

I won't lie but certainly landed up feeling a bit rough this morning and didn't get up to all that much. Carol did pop round though, and after a bit of time round at ours we headed over to The Telegraph for one of their Sunday roasts, still a favourite of ours.

After lunch, Uns and Carol headed into Peckham to get their nails done or something while I just chilled out at home and did a bit more work outside in the garden. No doubt we'll battle this week with a full five day week coming up, but on the bright side we do have a three day bank holiday weekend coming up so it's not all that day!
