On Saturday night it was Luke's 30th birthday and the theme he had decided on was the London Underground, or Tube party, up at the Stables. Basically you had to come dressed up as a tube station, which initially sounded a bit limiting, but once you started looking through the tube stations you realised there were plenty of options. I've included the second picture below which has over 70 tube stations in there, and is amazing how many are hidden in there! As a clue, you can see Brixton (ton of bricks), Seven Sisters (the seven girls), Lambeth (lamb in bath), etc.

My dress up idea was Heathrow and to re-use my pilots costume from Karneval a few years back. Most people had put in a decent effort with ideas like Wimbledon, Chalk Farm Road, Barbie & Ken (Barbican), Harrow, Barking, Bond Street, Vauxhall, Turnham Green, Hanger Lane, High Barnet, and a bunch of others. Really a good idea for fancy dress, and something different too from the usual ideas.

I didn't stay exceptionally late as I was going my photography course on both days with Ion Paciu so didn't want to be too knackered for that yesterday. The course itself was good, a lot more practical and hands on than the introductory course and now it's all about the practise and more practise!

I've added a few pictures from the day. Obviously they're nothing amazing, it's more about the skills and knowledge and the practical aspect will come over time. They're just a few taken around the area where we were yesterday and didn't come out too badly, so figured I'll add them into this post... why not?
