On Friday after work a few of us decided to head down to Katzenjammers for a few after work. It had been ages since I was last there, but always a good atmosphere there on a Friday. To be honest there aren't many (or if any) pubs in London which don't have a decent Friday night atmosphere. After a couple there I dashed off down to Balham to the BBC, the Balham Bowls Club for Sula's birthday drinks. I stayed there a couple before calling it a night and making my way home.

On Saturday afternoon a few of us headed up to the Stables for the SA vs England game. The result went in our favour, with us coming out victorious at 22 points to their 17. It wasn't the most convincing win, and was a real physical game by both teams, but got the win which England really wanted. That result has put us at eight straight wins now against the English, so it's not looking good for them at the moment. But there's still two tests to come against the Boks, which hopefully means we can put the wins in a row up to double figures :) After the game we hung around there for a while, then I missioned down to the high street and met up with Uns at Nandos for dinner, always a good feed down there!

Yesterday morning started with a breakfast down at Tried & True, then the rest of the afternoon was just around Putney. Last night we headed out to South Ken to Carluccio's for dinner with Noel, Emma who was over from Ireland, her sister, and then a couple of other friends of theirs, most who I hadn't met before. The food was good, very standard Italian stuff, but good for a Sunday night. After our meal there, we headed across the road to Janet's Bar, which is independent but seemed to be built into the Brompton Hotel entrance. The drink prices there were crazy, so we didn't stay for long and then attempted our journeys home despite the pouring and miserable rain outside!
