Thursday after work, with it being such a nice evening, headed home and took a fairly easy going cycle around Putney. It just seemed a waste to not get on the bike and head out while the sun was up and still light outside. Friday night was another nice summery evening, but decided to head straight home and just chill outside in the garden and soak up a bit of sun.

Saturday was the Marriott London Sevens at Twickenham, so started with a breakfast down at Cappuccino and then met up with Gav, Ben and all the rest of the guys they were with. From there, it was off to Twickenham for the day of sun and rugby. It wasn't quite as crazy as last year with this year's theme being 70s and basically Saturday Night Fever. I didn't go fully dressed up this time round, not like previous years. Gav and the rest all had Morphsuits on which looked really cool, but decided against the dress up option this time round. Si and Seamus were there as well, and I met up with them a bit later in the day to try follow the sun around the stadium. After a full day at Twickenham, it was back to Putney and met up with the Aussie crew down at the Rocket down near the river for a couple of Saturday evening cold ones.

Sunday it was off to Kew Gardens for the day, which was quite the opposite of Saturday with it being relaxed, easy going and rather tranquil. You know, got to mix them up a bit. I had yet to visit Kew Gardens, and was always something I wanted to see, so Sunday seemed the best time to do so.

I met Una out there by Kew in the morning, and after going in, we basically just wondered around the gardens, chilled out, had some lunch, I took some photos and did a bit more walking and garden watching. Really quite the relaxing day there, and all the time being surrounds by some stunning gardens.

The few things I enjoyed the most was the treetop walkway, the Kew Palace, the water garden features and the various areas surrounding the lakes which made an awesome setting as sunset approached. The fact that the weather was nice and sunny really added to the whole weekend, especially that yesterday and today have been miserable and overcast, so got the good weekend weather in just in time! Love it when that happens!
