Last night was the postponed premiership game between Arsenal and Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium in North London. Una had gotten a set of three tickets through someone at work so her, myself and Si planned to head to the game on Saturday, but it was postponed until last night instead. So after work, we all met up near to Arsenal Station and then took a walk from there to the ground.

It turned out to be a cracking game, with Newcastle going into the lead after just 14 minutes, only for Arsenal to equalise a minute later. The rest of the game was goalless, but not without a good number of shots on target. At full time, with the score still at 1-1, they signalled an extra 5 minutes of extra time, when Arsenal, in the 95th minute, put one behind the posts to take them to a 2-1 win. Needless to say the crowd went mental at that match winning goal, and glad The Gunners managed to win on home soil - always a better atmosphere then! My first actual Barclays premiership game I've been to, it's taken me long enough, but a good one to watch nonetheless!
