On Thursday evening I was out after work for a social evening with the recruitment company we use - they were doing something with their branding or new company or something, but myself and John headed through to Old Street for an evening of talks and a bit of networking/socialising at the Shoreditch Studios. The talks themselves, all based around Making Mobile Matter were somewhat dull I thought, not quite what I was expecting from them, but I guess they needed some topics that could cover a wide audience. After the talks and a bit of socialising, we headed off down the road to the nearby pub, which name I'm not quite sure of, and can't seem to work out either where it was. Annoying. But we stayed on there a while, in between everyone trying to convince me why I needed a new job and what they could offer me. I guess at least they're trying. From the pub it was off to Brown's just near to Old Street station until I had had enough and decided to make my way home. Didn't really cost me all that much, so can't really complain!

Friday morning was an early start out at the Charlotte Street Hotel for a seminar and breakfast with the email crowd from work. That was definitely not on my list of things I wanted to do on Friday morning... I think sleep and a fry up were on top of that list. But a boring email conference... towards the bottom. But these things need to get done. A couple of hours there, then it was back to the office, and it just so happened to tie in with our social Friday where we finished up around 4pm and usually have a BBQ out at the back to some sort of social activity. So tuned out into a pretty good Friday after all.

Saturday I wasn't feeling all that great, and really didn't feel like getting up to much, so spent the day just chilling at home, taking it easy. Then yesterday, feeling better than I was, headed out with Uns to the Wildlife Photography Exhibition at the Natural History Museum, which was coming to an end so decided to buy tickets while they were still available. The exhibition was brilliant, a combination of wildlife and amazing photography - can't beat that. And yet more inspiration to get working on my photography skills.
