For Christmas, Loz had bought a set of tickets for all of us at home to go and watch the fairly new Rock of Ages musical. It was showing at the Shaftesbury Theatre just off Shaftesbury Avenue, so last night the three of us met up around there before the show and somehow there was a slight issue with our tickets, so Lozzie managed to work her magic and swap them for other seats which landed up being way better than our original seats - only a few rows from the front and in the very centre too. Perfect really!

The show was brilliant, the lights, the music, the acting, the actors, the show, etc, etc. Was definitely a good night out. To sum up the storyline, I've stolen a couple of lines from their website... "Rock of Ages was set in LA's infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, and it tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in LA to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair!" Good times :)
