Still on my January detox from New Years Eve, and doesn't make it any easier heading out with everyone, but still managed to get though it despite the peer pressure... and barrage of comments being thrown around :) I started off with an easy Friday just at home, then headed through to Harrods with Una on Saturday morning to check out their fairly new Nespresso boutique they've set up selling their new range of espresso machines. Which are definitely tempting for home! From Harrods we headed over to Nandos near Victoria for a late lunch, which as usual goes down like a treat. Never quiet get tired of a good Nandos lunch!

After Nandos I headed off home to change, then it was off to Tooting for Callum's birthday at the Tram and Social. I've heard a fair bit about the Tram and Social but never been there before. The venue itself is real cool, not easy to spot at first being hidden away with the entrance wedged before two other bars and restaurants, but once inside it's completely different - an old converted tram shed with a chandelier-lit main bar and smaller mezzanine around the edges. Definitely a good night out and have got to organise another night there sometime soon. A night when we're not all on a January detox. Makes for a good difference to a night out.

Yesterday lunch was at Carluccio's in Putney, which do decent, authentic Italian food and are all over the place here in London, but until yesterday I had yet to try them out. Other than the screaming kids everywhere, lunch was good and worth going back for. From Putney, Uns and I headed into Waterloo and then I branched off up to Camden to the Black Heart pub where Ryan and Jacqui were having their fairly low key farewell party before Jacqui leaves to head back to Australia. It was fairly quiet there, considering it was a Sunday afternoon in Camden, but good to catch up with Will, Ryan and Jacqui again.
