On Thursday evening Si and Suzie arrived down quite late from Manchester for the weekend, and so we decided to have a chilled night just at home, and a bit of a catch up. Then Friday was Giulz's 30th birthday, and he had organised a night out at Proud Camden, up there in the Camden Stables Market. He had booked a booth for the night, so we were guaranteed our own private area while we were there. But before that, after work, we all met up in Camden at the Blues Kitchen for dinner and drinks, and as most of us did, ordered their rack of ribs, which were delicious. But they are famous of their ribs and whiskey, and blues music later on. We didn't hang around for the band, instead heading up to the Camden Stables for the night.

En route to the club, I realised I wasn't exactly dressed for the scene, so stopped off and bought myself a hat and feather boa on the way from one of the high street stalls. Guess that'll do, plus I thought I looked the part. There wasn't much of a queue yet, plus we were on the guestlist, it was straight in and off to our private booth, which slowly began to fill up. It turned into an awesome night, with a huge crowd coming through, and even though didn't quite make it to the dance floor, it atmosphere was good enough around the stable booths not to have to fight for a space. Woolley as expected got kicked out, a few times, so was a good laugh seeing him outside when we all decided to leave - sitting there in a fenced off area waiting for the rest of us. Classic. A quick stop by the Camden Kebab shop on the way home was a good end to the night.

On Saturday morning, Uns and I headed to the Frog on the Green Deli there by Peckham Rye for a hungover brunch and coffee, which went down a treat. From there, it was off to Putney to the Larrick, in time for the Currie Cup final between the Lions and the Sharks. Another good crowd there for the afternoon - Si, Suzie, Giulz, Lorenzo, Loz, Al, Jen, Fish, Tom and Kate. The game was good, with the Lions hammering the Sharks to a 42-16 win and put them as Currie Cup champions for 2011. That made my afternoon - and its not often it's from a Lion win :) The Larrick also happened to be having a Halloween party later on, and even though it wasn't quite what we had planned, we hung around for a while to cash in on the two happy hours throughout the night. And it actually turned into a wicked night up there, especially that it wasn't expected!

Yesterday was just a chilled day at home, with nothing planned or happening during the day. Later on last night, we headed through to Kew to a Lebanese restaurant recommended by Giulz's uncle, called Palmyra. There were about 8 of us in total for dinner, so a good end to a busy weekend, as usual!
