Last week was a fairly busy second half to the week, starting off on Wednesday where I met up with Una and her friend Gemma at the George, by Borough, after work for a couple of drinks. I didn't stay too long, but rather let them catch up and preferred to head home instead. Sizi was down from Manchester for the night and staying with us, so was good to head home and catch up with him for a bit. Then on Thursday I met up with Fish and Si at the Railway in Putney for their Thursday night curry club, which is always a good, tasty cheap evening out. And on Friday, after spending the day up in Sheffield for work, it was back to the Railway again to meet Sizi and Will, who had been out drinking, and then at the Railway, for quite some time. So needless to say that was quite something to meet up with those fools when they well on their way, and I wasn't. But a few beers on the house courtesy of Heineken is always welcomed.

Yesterday morning was the first semi-final match between Wales and France, which turned into quite a tense game, with Wales unfortunately losing to the Frenchies 8 points to 9, after a controversial sending off to Welshman Sam Warburton. Not that that single incident lost it for Wales, but it definitely didn't help them. Was hoping for Wale to make it through, but now with France in the final, I'm definitely hoping for a New Zealand France final. Just to keep it exciting for them. Then today was the other semi final game, between New Zealand and Australia, and there was no question about the winner here, with New Zealand putting 20 points on the board compared to Australia's 6 points. They just dominated the game, to put them into the final next week against France. Nice and interesting!

After the rugby, with the two finalists decided, Una and I headed over to Nunhead Cemetery, to wonder around and me take some photos. It's only a few minutes walk from her house, and makes for some impressive photos, plus I get a bit of photography practice in.

After Nunhead Cemetery, we decided on a Sunday roast, which was easier said that done. We headed into Dulwich, and must've walked the entire length of Dulwich in search of a pub that wasn't full or sold out of Sunday lunches. We had certainly built up quite a hunger by the time we found the pub, so went down a treat. Was a bit of a concern at one point I may lose out on lunch today :(
