After a fairly late one last night, this morning involved a rather delayed start to the day and a decent bit of catch up sleep. Once up, we headed into town for a bit of a walk around and tried out the Fergbaker pie shop, just next door to Fergburger but specializing in pies. Delicious.

After chilling out at the hostel, Haig, Ian, Dave and myself decided on a game of disc golf that afternoon, which is much like traditional golf but Instead of a ball and clubs, the players use a flying disc, or frisbee. The object of the game is to complete each hole in the fewest number of strokes, or technically, throws. A golf disc is thrown from a tee area to a target which is the "hole", and can be one of a number of disc golf targets; the most common is called a Pole Hole, which is an elevated metal basket.

Unfortunately the wind had massively picked up which made throwing a Frisbee that extra bit challenging. A few hours later we had completed all 18 'holes' with Salmon over here coming in in last place. There was at least a bit of a struggle for fifth/last place, but a couple of poor effort throws guaranteed me the final spot on the score sheet. And that also meant penalty shots later on that evening!

Later on we heading over to Cowboys Bar to watch the England vs Romania game where England expectantly won 67-3, so another big scoring game there.. Following on from that was the much anticipated New Zealand vs France game, where New Zealand would be looking for some revenge from the 1999 and 2007 World Cup games. There had obviously been a lot of talk and build up to the game, so it was hopefully set to be an exciting one. In the end, New Zealand took it away with 37 points to 17, so not really the nail biting game people had been working it up to be. Still, exciting none the less.

After the game we decided to head out to Altitude again, and the weather had managed to turn from windy in the afternoon to a proper storm of snow. Not ideal when you decide not to take a jacket with you! But we rather hurriedly made our way to Altitude which was a lot quieter than Friday night, which was a little disappointing. So instead it was over to World Bar which too didn't really seem to be happening. After the group couldn't make up their mind and in all honesty there didn't really seem a best solution, I decided to quit while I was ahead and head back to the hostel.
