Nothing more true that the phrase 'make hay while the sun shines' - well, unless by 'hay' they mean 'head down to the park and the beer gardens'. But that's besides the point. On Sunday, with the weather almost as hot and clear as you can get - Loz, Uns, Si and myself made our way down to the Rocket on the river for lunch and a good part of the afternoon. It was almost too hot to be out in the sun, but perfect in the square between the Boathouse and Rocket, which is where we made use of a good part of our Sunday!

Once the heat of the day had eased off slightly, we strolled over to Wandsworth Park and met up with Luke a friend of his, and we chilled out there in the late afternoon sun with a bit of frisbee and a lot of doing nothing, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

But the time it started cooling down, Uns and I left there and headed out to Peckham to grab a fairly late dinner outside, before calling it a night and a weekend, ready for work again. But with today being another glorious day outside, a few of us decided to utilise our lunch and head over to the Rake which is adjacent to Borough Market for a couple of cheeky ones in the sun.

We're really all hoping this short spell of good summer weather may last and not fade away, turning into a grey, dull summer which wouldn't be all that unlikely for the UK. But for now, we'll definitely make hay while the sun shines.
