After not having played in years, it was time to give foosball fussball a go again. There's a bar in Shoreditch called Barkick which has about 11 tables for use. I hadn't been there before, so good to head out somewhere new. We left after work with Heike and Vaughan and headed out to Shoreditch where we met up with Isabella as well as Pete, who used to work with us. I have clearly lost all my table football skills from back in the day of Vaughn's and Jamaican Eatery, with me trying the whole night to win at least one game. No such luck there - got to sort that out.

After a good evening of Fussball, some of the others left and the rest of us decided to head over to The George and Dragon, which was almost opposite the street, for a couple before they closed. It was a classic Shoreditch old mans pub with funky decor on the walls and jukebox in the corner. Rather busy for a Wednesday night, guessing since they stayed open fairly late and it was Shoreditch after all.

Once last orders had been called we made our way down the road to anywhere still open and was pointed in the direction of Mother 333, a fairly well known club in the area. It wasn't all that busy when we got in and the numbers soon built up and had a wicked night there, playing a range of classics and dance songs. Pete left at some point in the evening, but we decided to carry on while it was still going strong.

Eventually we decided to call it a night, and after leaving we made a mandatory stop by the kebab shop for cheesy chips, definitely one of the best I've had - the fact it was after 3 had nothing to do with it :) After bussing it home, I still made it into work in good time, and was faced with one of the longest days ever! But the Wetherspoons curry night yesterday evening sorted me out nicely. This afternoon's our monthly work social afternoon, so at least we get to finish up working a bit earlier today!
