And it's the start of the second long weekend, with today being the Royal Wedding and then it's May Day on the Monday - so another four day weekend for us again! Last night after work I met up with Luke and a few others down at the Railway, who have just done a big refurb of the place, but still looks much the same. The headed down to the Jolly Gardener for a bite to eat, then back up to Citizen Smith when the rest had all closed, until Luke - still upset about my BallFace comment - stormed out and dissappeared home, before D and I also called it a night.

This morning (and most of the day I guess) was the Royal Wedding, which has had everyone talking for sometime now. I watched most of it at home on the TV, in between packing for the rest of the weekend up in Manchester, and once the formalities were over with, headed down to the Normanby and met up with Luke and Diego for the street party organised by the Normanby, together with a handful of bands, both playing inside the pub and on the street throughout the day. We hung around there for sometime, which was quite good atmosphere, then stopped in at Friends Cafe for a bite to eat, then left them to continue onto Luke's post-wedding reception party, and I headed home to grab the last few bits before making my up to Manchester and then off to the Lake District tomorrow.
