After a few weeks of pretty good sunny weather, this one just gone by really has given us a real taste for summer. For the first time in the evenings we could sit or stand around outside without the need for any coats or jackets. On Thursday I met up with Tom and Oli at the Ruba Bar by the Hilton near Tower Bridge for a catch up there, and then Friday was out with the work guys at the Founders Arms - which is a lot better when we don't have to fight for a place to stand around tables indoors.

Then yesterday, while Si was out meeting up with his brothers, Lozzie and I headed down to Wandsworth Park and along the Thames. We met up with Diego, Warren and a couple of others down there and joined them for a few cold refreshing beverages in the park. From there, we headed on over to the Queen Adelaide which I still hadn't been to, and grabbed some food there and spent the better part of the afternoon sitting in their garden outside. Not bad for a Saturday afternoon.

On our way back home - Luke, Tom and Kat called to say they were at Putney Station, just as we were basically passing by, so stopped off there to say HI and then joined them over at the Princess of Wales before popping next door for Nandos for dinner!

So after what set off for an afternoon walk down to the park, turned into an epic circular pub crawl of Putney, and managed to catch a decent amount of sun too. I think a few more Saturdays like that may be required coming up...
