Come Dine With Me - a popular TV programme here in the UK which has either four or five contestants competing against each other hosting a dinner party, and afterwards each get to rate the host's performance and the winner wins a cash prize at the end.

We had spoken about doing a Come Dine With Me at work sometime late last year, but with a few of us away over Christmas, decided to postpone it until sometime now. And last night was the first of those, with me having been drawn first to host four of the guys from work. Going first is never easy, but at least it's done and dusted and then get to enjoy (and criticise) the others over the next few weeks/month.

We started off around half three, with a full three course meal and then a few drinks afterwards. John and I however carried on until the early hours, where the other sensible ones left around 11 last night. So needless to say today was a bit of a struggle, but think everyone had a good afternoon and evening, but we'll see at the end when the scores are announced! Quite good to socialise a bit with work people, out of work, where you don't feel you need to discuss or moan about work, but rather just a chilled easy afternoon and a good three course meal. Looking forward to what the other guys have to offer now.
