A week with a bit of difference - a lot of catching up with people all over the place. Last Monday and Tuesday were squash days with Kate, had been a while since we last played, over eight months I guess, so that was good to play again and catch up. Then on Wednesday I met up with Claire at The Prince in Brixton before heading back to the Slug and Lettuce in Clapham Junction to meet up with Si Woolley and a couple of his friends over from SA. After the Slug, Claire made her way home and we popped over to The Northcote for while, before I headed home while they made their way out to Clapham High Street. As tempting as it was to continue on, it was a school night, and decided it was for the best.

Thursday, the three of us at home met up with Luke down at Citizen Smith for their half price pizzas and a bit of live acoustic music, which is always a winner. Then Friday I met up with Tom and Oli at Tom's place, which I hadn't seen before. Nice place there by Elephant & Castle. Think we managed to get through a fair amount there, so a good catch up evening.

Last night we had our first bbq of the year over at Luke's place. It was definitely more of a bbq than a braai considering the chilly weather, cooking on gas, lack of sun and no open fire. But it was good, other than Luke's ridiculously burnt sausages - but we managed to work around that. Then today was just a chilled day at home, with a well cooked house roast for dinner tonight. Definitely been a good week of eating and drinking!
