Not the most exciting week I've had since my last update. After all, it has been over 'Blue Monday' which is supposedly the most depressing day of the year. There's some formula is calculate it which involved the weather, debt, time since Christmas, time since failing our new year's resolutions, low motivational levels and the feeling of a need to take action. All those together sometime determined last Monday, the 17th, to be the most depressing day of 2011. Well at least things are looking up from here.

I wasn't quite feeling 100% last week, so just an easy week around here, and managed to watch 127 Hours last Wednesday which I'd been wanting to do for quite some time. I read the book (Between a rock and a hard place) last year, and now the movie was out, and was thoroughly impressed with it. Makes me want to start climbing/hiking again - think a weekend in the Lakes may be in order sometime soon!

Otherwise not much else the rest of the week, and then headed into town on Saturday night to the Shakespears Head in Holborn to meet up with Ryan and Jacqui who had just moved over from SA, so was good to see him again and meet Jacqui. Plus the other usual crowd of Will, Paul, Carol, Nic, etc were all out, so a good catch up again.

Then yesterday Loz and I headed down to the river to the Star & Garter on Lower Richmond Road to meet up with the Aussie crew down there for an afternoon catch up and drink - hadn't been there before, but a nice pub overlooking the river. After the pub, back home for a house cooked dinner.
