Well it didn't take long to get back into the swing of London living, meaning I think I left relaxing back in Africa. I arrived a little bit later than expected on Tuesday morning after some delay in Joburg with the weather, but heading straight home after work for a Thai and wine evening and catching up. Then on Thursday I met up with Gav and Ben at the William Blake pub near Old Street for a catch up beer before making our way to Santore Pizzeria on Exmouth Market, a vibrant pedestrianised street in the heart of Clerkenwell, for some good tasting traditional pizza.

Red Wine at HomeSantore Restaurant

I had a fairly easy weekend at home, with nothing too much happening and then back into squash again on Tuesday, which was a bit of a struggle after almost five weeks off. Then last night was another lazy evening at home, I'm definitely struggling to adjust out of African Time, where I just don't feel like doing much. But that'll sort itself out soon I'm hoping/guessing.

Citizen Smith

Then this evening I met up with Si, Luke and Lozzie at the Citizen Smith for half price pizza and beers and live music, which they have down there on Thursday nights. It was a fairly easy night, but good catch up with the others and beats a simple home cooked meal :)
