Yesterday and today were just family wind-down days and time spent around the house. I had nothing planned to do, other than chill out at home, preferable around the pool and a braai. Yesterday, Greg and Kim popped round for lunch and some time in the sun and pool, which was well deserved. Then last night we went out for dinner at Moyo in Melrose Arch, which has grown massively popular over the years and is based entire around an African theme, on the menu, the layout, the entertainment and the 'traditional' facepainting. I had the steak as recommended by Greg and Kim, and definitely lived up to it's expectation.

Then this morning we had a champagne breakfast fry up at home, which probably wasn't quite needed after a massive dinner last night, but being my last day of holiday, it had to be done.

Then this afternoon we had the family around for a bit, before I finished up with my last minute packing and sorted, including a good few minutes of absolute panic when I couldn't find my UK residency permit, but it came to light after what felt like hours. About to leave for the airport now to head back to the mud island after four absolutely amazing weeks out here in SA. It's sad that it has to come to an end, and as much as I am looking forward to heading back to the London crew, it's awfully sad to be leaving. It just means my next holiday back here will have to sooner rather than later. See you on the flip side...
