Yesterday was Christmas Day, so a very Merry Christmas to everyone. And it's a slightly bit warmer than my White Christmas of last year :) The plan for Xmas day was to head round to friends & family of Kim's and spend the day there - eating, drinking and being merry. We all met up at number 54, and once the whole family was round at ours, we headed over to Bedfordview for the day, with about 50 people in total there I think.

After some swimming, lazying around in the sun (it was pumping down with perfect weather) and a massive Christmas lunch, the afternoon was spent in the pool, with rum and coke in hand at all times. Not a bad way to spend Christmas day!

Today we were just at home, with the family round at ours for an afternoon braai and a couple of beers in the sun. A pretty easy going Boxing Day with some good family time, and now just been packing a few things in preparation for Cape Town for the next week. My flight's a bit later this evening for a nice week down in the Cape and then back again on 1st... really looking forward to it!
