Snow in London is generally not all that common, but it does happen, and when it does it's usually sometime in January or February which are the coldest months. Except this year when the snow comes early and hits us the beginning of December. Which makes us all cringe what the first couple of months of next year are going to be like.

On one hand, the walk to work was brilliant - a beautiful white blanket covering London, kicking up fresh snow, flakes falling as you walk, snowballs and random snowmen on the sidewalk and an exciting distraction to the cold. On the otherhand however, this time tomorrow London turns into a slippery icerink covered in ice. Not fun at all. But we'll worry about that when it happens, for now, there's fresh snow to enjoy...
