Last night was the Deftones gig down at the Brixton Academy. After work, I headed down to Brixton and met up with Gav and his cousin Monique down at The Rest Is Noise which tends to be the regular drinking/meeting spot before everyone heads over to the Academy. We knocked back a quick one and then headed over to see what live show the Deftones could impress us all with.

I've only caught them live once before, that was earlier this year at Download. The last time they played in London I was away somewhere on holiday and never got to see them. But they certainly put on a wicked live performance and come across as a such a cool live band, playing a few of there new songs from their latest album and concentrating mainly on their earlier material. Always a bonus.
