The past few nights I've just been taking it easy, but keeping busy enough to be able to still write something here :) On Thursday, met up with Si and Loz down at the Railway just in Putters for their Thursday night curry club, which is still as good as ever. And from there, made our way down to the Wahoo bar and briefly met up with Luke, who had been there a good part of the afternoon. I can't see us going back to the Wahoo, other than to watch sport, it's just lost its attraction other than the excessive amount of sport showing TVs. But not cool for a Thursday anymore.

On Friday, stopped by Katzenjammers after work with a few of the word crowd. It's a really awesome little German pub on Southwark Street, not too far from the office and right by London Bridge station. They had a traditional German band on brass instruments playing popular cheesy tunes, which made for a good atmosphere. And you can drink out of proper steins. First time I'd been there, but can definitely see myself going back again soon.

Yesterday morning Si and I headed out down to Dorking for a bit of mountain biking fun in the wet and the mud. Normally we would always drive out there with Paulus, but decided to try the train option instead, which wasn't bad at all. Started off with a few miles of road hill climbing, but that took us straight up to Coldharbour, and from there we hit Summer Lightning and a few new single track trails we hadn't found before. Definitely a good part of the day out on the bike.

Then last night was Halloween, and as much as I do love fancy dress themed nights, Halloween has never been one of them. But still happy to head out. Claire was having a party round at hers, so re-used the same outfit as last year which was the pirate skeleton mask and the viking helmet. Works like a treat. It wasn't too big a night, with me heading home instead of clubbing, which was probably the wise decision which meant I was still useful today and could actually get stuff done I wanted to :)
