On Friday night I had a fairly easy one, just meeting the others down at the Rocket briefly before heading home. And then much the same for the day yesterday, other than a bit of a shopping for the awesome party we had last night. We had decided that we were pretty lame at home for not having more house parties, and Lozzie had been talking about a Mexican party for some time, and we figured it was time for out Mexican Party. Which is exactly what all of last night was about!

The theme was obviously Mexican, and the idea was for people to bring food and drink which was Mexican themed to add a bit of spice (no pun intended) to the party. And it definitely tuned into a wicked party.

Between the Mexican flag hanging in the living room, to cut outs of various Tequila based cocktails around the house, Mexican phrases all over the place, a shot of tequila on entry, Mexican music for the first few hours, Margaritas and everyone in fancy dress, we were all well impressed with the effort everyone put in.

We had a brilliant turn out, with everyone coming through, more than we expected actually which is always a good sign. And even a better sign was the lack of people leaving at a reasonable time. We figured by midnight the majority of people would have gone, well that was optimistic... fair enough some had gone to get their trains and buses, but the last of the people left just before 6 this morning, which was coincidently when we turned the music off and all decided to crash. Definitely an awesome night.
