After the dissapointment of the last RAM Records night at Fabric, I was really looking forward to the most recent Hospitality night which was at the Brixton Academy. From the website, the transformation of Brixton was going to be impressive, as well as managing to organise not two, but three rooms for the night.

After work on Friday I headed home for something to eat and drink and then made my way over to Brixton around half eleven and met up with Gav and Ben, who had gotten in there maybe 20 minutes before me, so not too much later than them.

As you can assume, the above pictures aren't actually mine, rather some I nabbed from Andy Squire and some other random online. All better photos than what I would've taken. But the night itself was wicked - and Andy C and the others were at their usual best. The Academy was well setup, with a new floor being built for night to compensate for the sloping floor inside the venue as well as a custom built DJ booth on stage. The sound has always been a massive part of the Hospitality nights, previously as Matter and now again at Brixton - and last night proved that again with these massive speaker stacks all around the stage and dance floor. And then after getting in around six this morning, used the best part of today to catch up on some much needed sleep!
