On Sunday evening I managed to grab two tickets to see Frankie Boyle last night testing out some of his new material. The show was called 'Work in Progress' and was at the Hen & Chicken Theatre near to Islington. There weren't very many of us there, maybe 50 people at the most, which is all the pub could hold. He basically was trialling some of the new material and test running in front of a small audience.

Even though it was a fairly short show, it was still fantastic - the man is a comic genius. I was quite lucky to get tickets, considering how popular he is and how few people the venue can hold. Now to try get tickets to his full stand up show happening in November... but tickets for that sold out long ago :(
