This weekend was the August Bank Holiday weekend, and for the first time in a couple of years I was in London for it. Last year was my Italy-Greece holiday and previous to that I was in Spain for La Tomatina, so keeping it local made for a change this year. Also, makes sense to save my holiday for December instead, which hopefully will come around sooner rather than later!

Otherwise just had a really easy, quiet long weekend here. Good to not do much actually, besides the odd bit of high street shopping and picked up my new suit for the wedding next weekend. Then for lunch today, went down to the Friends Oriental Food Hall, just a small oriental cafe just off Putney High Street. Hadn't been there before, but was highly recommended by Loz, so we went down and met up with Katie there for lunch.

After lunch, popped down to the Rocket Pub next to the Boathouse for a couple of lazy afternoon beers overlooking the river. The weather wasn't good enough to sit outside, but made for a good end to the long weeend. At least it's only four days this week!
