Last night was a good catch up over drinks night with the old work crew. I think these days there are only two or three from there left, everyone else has moved on, but still is and will be known as Sponge Drinks. Had been a while since we all last got together, and after not being able to organise last week Thursday, last night turned out to be a bit more successful. Think the last time we all caught up was at my leaving party - a few months back.

We started off at the Ship and Shovell nearby Charing Cross, just off Villiers Street and had a few there before moving over the seating area under the arches outside the Players Lounge, or Piano Bar as it's generally known.

And as can be expected with that crowd, the night wasn't quiet or easy going - the piano bar was good fun and as always, got out of hand. I did take the initiative to leave before last train - wanted to get home without the use of a night bus, which turned out to be half true. A cab from Barnes doesn't really count. Good times indeed. I can feel today dragging on for a while, but the bacon roll this morning certainly helped :)
