Last week was much of the usual run-of-the-mill sort of week - a bit of squash, work, catching up with others... nothing too crazy to write here about. Last Thursday we had a work drinks night out, a good catch up with the new work crowd, most who I probably haven't really gotten to know too well yet. We started out at the Hornimans at Hays nearby London Bridge and continued there until closing, when most (of the sensible people) decided to head home. Then there were a few who thought it clever to head out to Islington to some bar there, at which point I decided to battle it out with the night buses and head home.

On Friday night, met up with Lou and went to the Cubana Bar by Waterloo Station for a quick Mojito before heading home for dinner and a chilled night in - wasn't up for doing all that much after Thursday. Then on Saturday, was just at home in the morning so decided to take a cycle into town and back, basically to follow the new cycle superhighway they've been building which goes right past work, starting at Morden and through Clapham. Was definitely a good way for me to get to work, when or if I decide to get on the bike to work.

After getting home, made my way up to Loz and Kate's place for a late BBQ and chilled up there for the rest of the evening, and Sunday being much of the same again. Then on Wednesday was out in Tooting for dinner, firstly stopping at the Selkirk pub and then moving onto Mirch Masala for a good mix of curry, which never fail to disappoint.

At least it's already Friday, which makes me happy. Most likely heading down to visit Mike down in Tunbridge Wells this weekend - planning on getting the train down tomorrow then back on Sunday. So a change from London for the weekend. But until then, roll on 6pm and the weekend!
