On Friday evening, a crowd of us headed over to The Twickenham Stoop for a night of rugby sevens. It was the first of the new summer 7s series to take place around the country in July and August, involving all 12 premiership rugby clubs broken down into regional groups.

Friday we got to see the Harlequins, Saracens, London Irish and London Wasps battle it out among each other in a round robin style tournament. I hadn't been to the Stoop before, which is basically big Twickenham's little sister - but big enough to hold a good crowd, especially for something like the sevens. Was definitely a good night, followed up by a few beers down on Putney High Street at the Coat and Badge before making our way home.
