On Wednesday after work, I headed over to Holborn and met up with Lou for a couple of drinks in the sun at The George, before making our way over to Pu's Brasserie, a really nice Thai restaurant near to Holborn High Street. (I normally never struggle to find a picture of a pub or restaurant, but cannot for the life of me find a recent photo of The George in Holborn. Hopefully I'll get one to add in below alongside the Thai restaurant.)

Then last night was something a bit different and we went to go and see an exhibition of various works of the Modern Toss collection - a British series of cartoon booklets and books aimed at adults mainly due to it's "offensive" content - not in a horrible smell on the tube kind of way, more brilliantly funny, but when others are around, you have to nod in disapproval.

The exhibition was over at Maverik Showrooms near to Shoreditch, so stopped off en-route for a quick refreshment at the Drunken Monkey on Shoreditch High Street before making out way to the showrooms. It didn't take long to walk around, but definitely some classics in there - both old and new. To end off the evening, we grabbed dinner at the Stingray Globe Cafe, nearby Old Street, for some amazingly good and cheap pizza. Always a classic!
