It's clearly been the month for seeing bands back to back. And last night was my second time in a week of seeing Stone Temple Pilots - first at Download, then last night at the Brixton Academy. The football was also on first, South Africa vs Uruguay, which we manage to catch the first half at the closest pub to the Academy, before heading off to the gig.

At least this time it was a bit more protected from the wind and rain and mud, which made one big difference from Download. Otherwise, they played all their classics and a few from the new album, which I'm not all that sure of yet, other than the couple of singles they've come out with.

A really wicked gig and yet another band from the 90s I can add to my list - after last weekend seeing AC/DC, Rage, Deftones, Slash, etc. Could do with a fairly early one tonight - been non stop for the last couple of weeks, but with my planned list of things happening in June, doesn't look like that'll be the case for some time still.
