Haven't been up to all that much this week - started the new job on Monday, and all seems to be going well so far. Just under a week into it, and even though it's still early days, all seems alright for now. Sure things will get easier the longer I'm here. Otherwise just a bit of squash in the evening this week - taking it easy for the first week or so, until I'm more settled here, and worked out the best commute into work and back.

Went out last night for a quick drink after work in the sun, then headed across to Fulham Broadway for an attempted dinner at Hell Pizza - a New Zealand based pizza chain, which is supposed to be really good, from what I've heard. However, on getting there, it was dead empty and we weren't too keen on the idea of eating in an empty restaurant. Instead, we headed towards the Broadway and ate at Bodean's BBQ - an authentic American BBQ restaurant serving large portions of steaks, racks of ribs and other American BBQ dishes. Delicious! There is one in Clapham which I know is fairly popular, but like Hell Pizza, never been there, just know the name.

Otherwise, on the plus side, it's a bank holiday weekend here - the usual last Monday of May holiday. I'm sure it has some importance or relevance to something historic, all I know is we get a three day weekend and then a fairly short four week day. Should be good...
