Thursday night was our usual Wetherspoon's Curry Night just down at the Railway in Putters. Nothing too crazy afterwards, just the standard beer and a curry, then back home. The £1.50 drinks night at Wahoo was tempting, but best avoided when possible. Then on Friday met up with some of the ex work colleagues near Embankment at the Bell & Compass before heading on over to The Players Bar, under the arches nearby Charing Cross, which had someone on the piano and signing all the classic (cheesy) music you'd expect from a club.

Saturday morning Si, Paul and myself hit a cycle along the Thames cycle path, starting off in Richmond and making our way back to Putney. Took it fairly easy, and with the slight drizzle didn't help much, but make for a good cycle and a bit of fresh air. Then that evening we had a bunch of others around at our place for some drinks which turned into a bit of Three-Man drinking game, as expected.

On Sunday, took a walk down to the Duke's Head on the river for the afternoon, and spent some time there before stopping by the Spotted Horse for a cheeky one en route home.

I really do enjoy busy long weekends like this one just gone by, makes you realise how much there is to do in London, and how much I still haven't done. It does also knock it out of you for the rest of the week, but suppose that is what the weekends are for. Good times indeed.
