Last night was originally planned for a fairly civilised 'meet up for a few drinks' kind of evening, and worked out quite a bit different, for the better! Met up with Lou firstly at Gordon's Wine Bar, on Villers Street just down from Charing Cross, for a few pre-drinks before moving across to the Sherlock Holmes, near to Embankment for a couple more.

Once the Sherlock Holmes staff started hinting that they were closing, we decided it was time to leave and happened to make our way into some private party on board the Hispaniola, which is moored on the Thames just near to the Tattershalls Castle. We basically went on to use their WC, got chatted to people who were at the party and before long, had been 'smuggled' into the party, where all drinks were free. Bonus. Unfortunately it was the end of the night, so only managed a single round.

Figuring the night had only just begun and with some fairly inebriated logic setting in, took a cab over to Soho and decided on the Roxy, of all places, to continue the night. On the plus side - it was open and would stay open until 4am. On the negative side - it was the Roxy. But still good times nonetheless!

After a good few hours there together with some beers, Jägerbombs and cocktails, we left and caught the 14 bus home, ending up at the Green Man, as expected, so no real surprise there.

Feeling pretty rough today - I guess a good night out like that followed by only a couple of hours sleep doesn't help at all. So no real plans tonight - just got to pack then off to Wales tomorrow for the long weekend, looking forward to it!
