Summer seems to have arrived in London, and not a day too early either. Was a perfect day yesterday with clear skies and good sunny weather, and with the current flight ban in place, not even a jet stream to be seen anywhere. We started the day at home with a fry up, and then took a cycle out to Richmond and did the loop around the park, which is roughly a 7 mile loop, plus distance either side getting there and home from our place. But a good easy ride around.

After getting back, popped in and grabbed a few things, changed into something a bit more casual and headed down to Wandsworth Park, where we met up with Pam and her friend, as well as Luke who joined us a bit later on. Spent a good few hours down there soaking up the sun and enjoying a few cold beers. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Once the sun had gone down, the temperature dropped massively, so decided to head back to ours for dinner and a movie, a good end to a great weekend. It most likely has nothing to do with the volcano, but this ash cloud over the UK seems to be assisting in some brilliant weather, and if it somehow related, I sure do hope it hangs around for some time longer and keeps the sunny weekends. But I guess I'm only saying that since I don't need to fly anywhere anytime soon...
