After the debauchery that was Friday night, last night was a whole lot more cultured, and went to go back a West End musical, namely Wicked. The story is based on the best-selling novel of the same name, which is a parallel novel of the 1939 film 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz. It tells the story of Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West and her relationship with Galinda, later Glinda, the Good Witch of the North.

Wicked Musical

Since Keith (and Tiff) had never been to watch a theatre show in London's West End, they decided that would definitely form part of their weekend over here. Unfortunately due to the flight restrictions, Tiff spent the weekend in Kenya where she had been for work. But the rest of us still managed to go watch the production, and was very impressive. It still amazes me how professional the entire stage show is and the amount of work that must go into it behind the scenes.

Glad I went to see it, it's been one of the shows I've been wanting to see for ages, and now done it. Still a handful more to watch though, which I'm sure will come over time...
