Friday night was a fairly big one at Matter. After some pre-drinking at home, we headed off to Greenwich, met up with Gav and Ben near their place and then caught a bus over to the O2, getting there around midnight I guess. And as usual, it was another awesome night of good drum 'n bass.

Andy C played a wicked set, as did the few DJs we listened to in Room 2, yet I started to fade around 4ish, which is completely out of character for me :( Usually get to carry on until first train, but not Friday. I guess having a big Thursday didn't help. But we managed to get a bus to Waterloo and train home, all with good timing, so wasn't bad at all!

After a good few hours of well deserved sleep, we began yesterday by heading off to Hammersmith and met up with all the others to watch the Oxford Cambridge boatrace. We based ourselves at The Old Ship, right on the river's edge, and had a pretty good view of the river and the twenty-something seconds as the boats passed. And with Cambridge winning, made for a good race.

After the Old Ship, we walked up to the high street, grabbed some food, and made our way to the Hammersmith Ram, which wasn't nearby as busy as the riverside pubs and actually managed to get ourselves some seats, and not forgetting a few beers. From there, we tubed it down to Clapham and decided on The Loft, near Clapham North, which stayed open til half one. Never been there before, but music was alright and good a pretty good time.

Once it closed, we all headed back to Anna's place for some food before catching the night bus back to Putters for some well need sleep.
