On Friday night decided to just take it easy and have a quiet one at home. I knew that Saturday would be a pretty big night, so wasn't keen to do much the night before. Instead watched Tropic Thunder on DVD which I hadn't seen before. Then came Saturday... which was out of control! :)

We started off at The Grace Bar in Soho, just off Shaftesbury Avenue, from around 18h00 when everybody started arriving. I was impressed with the turn out, with just about everyone who I was expected actually turned up. LateNightLondon had their annual January voucher of 50% off all food and drinks, which is an amazing deal, dangerous, but still amazing. So needless to say we made good use of their deal. Following on from the Grace Bar, we walked down the road to Digress, just off Regent Street, who were hosts to all of us for the rest of night. Digress were too, having their half price food and drinks, so worked nicely in our favour.

It didn't take long for the drinks to start flowing, the music to kick off and the bad dance moves to hit the floor. And of course birthday presents were plentiful throughout the night, and by birthday presents, I mean birthday tequilas and jagerbombs. And yes, plentiful throughout the night.

Digress was awesome - the playlist was a combination of modern chart toppers and classic floor fillers, basically music you couldn't help but attempt to dance to. The club, as expected, was pretty full and with a really good turn out of people in our group, made for an brilliant atmosphere and night in general. Some classic photos as well from the night!

After a long night, took the night bus home which quite straight forward. Except when you stand for ten minutes at the wrong bus stop :) Second time I've done that now, and it is a genuine mistake, with the two roads leading off Picadilly Circus being parallel to each other, and the 14 only going from one of them. Good times!

Yesterday was an incredibly lazy day by us all - involving sleeping late, pizza and taking it easy. That was always the plan for the day after anyway. But playing squash this evening, so keeping it well balanced I think!
