Last week was a rather boring, uneventful week around here. Felt like a cold coming on, and couldn't be bothered to do anything other than head home and chill in front of the TV. Which is what most of last week consisted of. I do blame last weekend for this cold! Certainly not my own fault. Then on Friday, being my birthday, went out to the King & Queen near Goodge Street for a few post work beers. Not too bothered about doing all that much for my birthday - organised a pretty big night out on the 30th which I'll rather everyone comes to.

Last night went out to the Nordic Bar, apparently London's first Scandinavian bar and restaurant, also near Goodge Street. It was Oliver's birthday, so was good to catch up with others I hadn't seen in a while. There were thoughts of heading out to Old Street afterwards, but decided against it and headed home after the Nordic Bar.

Definitely one of the quietest birthday weekends I've had in a long time. But last weekend made up for it, and the 30th is gonna be massive - so going to save it all for then rather. Just did the usual random Sunday tasks around the house today, and the plan is to start squash / gym / cycling again this week again - been out of it for way too long now.
