After being away for a while, used this weekend as a catch up weekend around town. Starting off on Friday, met up with Gav at Regina Margherita in Angel, north London, where they serve wood-fired pizza sold by the meter. As if I didn't have enough pizza on holiday! Then Saturday was a fairly quiet day at home, and met up with Haig, Guy and Justin in the evening at the Dog & Fox in Wimbledon village.

Yesterday was a good London summer's day at the pub - making most use of the beer gardens before it gets too cold. It was Will's birthday and he had organised drinks at The Puzzle, in Earlsfield. So went down there for a while, which landed up being the entire afternoon and evening, making today a bit fuzzy round the edges!

As they say, no rest for the wicked. Got the folks arriving this Saturday morning for a couple of weeks around London and a visit across to Ireland. Really looking forward to that!
