On Thursday evening we had a company dinner and drinks night. It was just a thank you for the past few months work that everyone had been doing, so a bite to eat and a couple of beers are always welcomed. However, the hangover on Friday after a few of us decided to go to the Roxy club next door until 3am definitely wasn't welcomed.

No doubt Friday was a long, slow day at the office, and Friday night was just a quiet one at home, doing very little other than a takeaway and random TV channel surfing. I guess they do say that Thursday is now the new Friday.

Yesterday was a fairly busy day - starting off early with a cycle around and through Wimbledon, Richmond, Kingston and Twickenham, followed by the pub to watch the Highveld XV against the British Lions. Unfortunately we lost 25-37. After the game we headed down to Wandsworth Park to enjoy the sun, then home for some classic Wii challenges.

Today we had yet another braai at home - got to make use of the good weather. Had a good crowd of us around, mainly aussies which meant it didn't take more than 10 minutes before the cricket bat and ball and improvised wickets all came out, ready for a game of cricket, followed by football, in between the braaing.

After a day of drinking in the sun, some cricket, some football and way too much to eat, going to sleep like a baby tonight...
