Wednesday night involved dinner at Chakalaka in Putney for crocodile starters, some really good potjie and a few South African beers. And then Friday followed on with a bite of eat at the Ace Cafe, and then some watching some impressive street bike riding.

Last night was Gav's birthday, which started out in the afternoon in Greenwich village and after a few beers there we headed back to his place for a braai and a couple more beers. The night continued on until I decided I needed a cab back home or else I would've stayed on until the morning. And as it was, today was an early start to the day.

It was Ralitsa's birthday weekend, so we had organised a crowd of us to head up to Cambridge for the day - some scones in the morning, some punting down the cam in the afternoon and then a braai in the afternoon.

Had a really good day up there. Weather was great, beers were cold, had a good crowd of us, and no one fell in the river - great success! Urrrgh - why is it the weekend's fly by so quickly?
