This past week was the big move into the new house. Still in Putney, south west London, however more West Putney rather than East Putney. On the negative side, we're a bit further away from the tube (well I guess you couldn't get closer that I was) and not as close to a convenience store. However, the new house is awesome. It's way bigger, more spacious, more open and got much better facilities. And with an awesome shared garden out the back. So took a half day on Wednesday to organise the keys and check in etc, then took Friday off to move my stuff across. Could've done it over the weekend, but have the time off and Haig was able to help me on Friday - so worked out pretty well.

Friday evening, after mostly unpacking and getting most of the things across, I headed up to north London to Paul and Carol's place and we missioned over to the Ace Cafe, a motorbike car nearby Wembley. I know Paul has spoken of the Ace many a times, but I had yet to go there, so Friday is was. Nothing too crazy, just some good pub food, a few beers and watching some crazy idiots doing some awesome stunts on their bikes in the road.

On Saturday, Simon spent most of the day moving his stuff over from his old place. Marty had already moved all his stuff during the week, so was just Si left to get his across. I had some more house viewings at Millbrooke Court to try get people in there, so used quite a bit of Saturday morning up there showing people around. Then that evening, decided to have a braai at home. Nothing crazy at all, just a few people who we know weren't out, and some meat and some beers - make for a good evening. Definitely the first of many...

Yesterday was a pretty easy day. Had some random shopping to get done - mostly stuff for the new house. You suddenly realise everything you don't own when you need it in a new house, and previously belonged to someone else you used to live with. So that was Sunday's mission. And more house viewings in the evening. Hopefully can find someone soon...
