Last night was something different (for a change). Decided to try my hand at some indoor wall climbing. Paul used to and occasionally goes climbing and I figured I may as well give it a go. I was a bit hesitant with the height issue, but figured the best way to overcome that is to go higher and higher until I'm used to go.
The actual climbing wasn't as bad as I thought it may be. The height issue was fine, as most of the time we do bouldering which is no more than a few feet above the ground and it's about technique and strength. Which is where I failed horribly. There are clearly a lot more muscles in my arms that I had no idea were even there and all get used while climbing. I am suffering quite a bit today, but hopefully next time will be better and start get more used to it over time.
