Last night we celebrated valentines day a murder mystery dinner for Loz's birthday, in true 1920's style. The theme of her birthday was a murder mystery dinner set in the 1920's - and fancy dress was compulsory. And needless to say, everyone make an excellent effort in dressing up.

The bus ride there (and home) was good fun, especially stepping on the bus dressed like you never realised the 30's had started. But that's always expected with fancy dress on public transport.

The evening started with a few snacks and drinks, before being read the background behind the murder mystery. It's basically a who dunnit with a social, party element involved. There's a certain story line and each character has certain tasks and info to get from other characters to try and solve the murder. This goes on most of the night, through dinner and dessert, until everyone has a turn guessing who the murderer was.

At the end of it all, it was Katie who landed up being the murderer that night, even though no one guessed her. But at that point, everyone's judgement of character hasn't at a particularly high point, more a point and guess idea.

And then of course the bus ride home, while still dressed up to the max! :)
