Saturday we went cycling again, this time with a bit of a difference. After the snowfall last week and some intermittent snow this week, the whole of Surrey was covered with a white blanket. Which made cycling that much more fun.

It was harder than usual this week due to the real slippery conditions, but with decent grip on the tyres, wasn't too much of an issue. A few of the down runs where I managed to kick my back tyre out and slide a bit downhill just made me want to go skiing again. But guess that's going to have to wait until next year unfortunately.

Otherwise the rest of the Saturday was fairly quiet. Had to wait in for my lost bag to get delivered, which they had promised me would be dropped off between 6pm and 11pm, so there went any plans for Saturday night. It eventually arrived a bit after 10pm, so at least I have it now. Then yesterday I went shopping and got a pair of cycling shoes (which I have wanted for ages now) as well as fancy-dress-costume hire shopping for something from the 1920's for this coming Saturday. Well, back onto the 5 day weeks again...
