Well it has been a while since I last saw a live gig or two. Then, two in two nights. Not bad. And not just any gig - first was Slipknot, then last night was Pendulum.
On Thursday night, at the Hammersmith Apollo we saw Slipknot, who were supported by Machine Head. Definitely one of the most dynamic and original live sets I've ever seen. Even though their music has never been top on the CD pile, I've always thought they'd be great to see live... and without doubt, they were. Can't take any credit for the photos below, stole them off Flickr as they certainly are a lot better than any ones I would've taken...

And without wasting any time, last night was another gig, this time at Brixton Academy, and the second time I've seen them - Pendulum. I first saw them, also with Gav, at Rock-am-Ring in Germany. I had never heard of them then, but decided to see them live, so this time was great as I knew most of their tracks.

Together with the Pendulum gig, Keithy arrived from Germany last night. Just for the weekend - he leaves Sunday evening, but got a pretty big weekend planned. More on that on Monday...
